Frequently Asked Questions

Everything parents usually ask about the map: what it covers, what it costs, where the data comes from and how to use it.

Where can I find kindergartens and daycares in Tel Aviv?

The TLV Parents map covers more than 580 kindergartens and daycares in Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan. You can filter by ownership (municipal, Naamat, WIZO, private) and by licensing status, and see each one's address, phone and manager. It is free and needs no sign-up.

What playgrounds are there in Tel Aviv for toddlers?

The map shows 212 public playgrounds across Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan. You can filter for toddler equipment and accessibility, and each playground lists the equipment actually installed there and the distance to the nearest shelter.

Are there indoor play spaces for young children?

Yes. The map includes 54 indoor play spaces and activity centers in Tel Aviv. Each lists opening hours, age range, price and whether it is private or municipal.

Where are the public shelters near me?

The map includes more than 820 public shelters and protected spaces in Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan. You can also filter playgrounds to show only those within 70 meters of a shelter, which is roughly a one-minute run during a siren.

How much does it cost? Do I need an account?

The service is completely free and you do not need an account to browse the map. Signing in with Google is only required to view kindergarten phone numbers, and that is free too.

Where does the data come from and how current is it?

The data is built from open public datasets from the Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan municipalities and government ministries, then cleaned and geocoded by hand. Local parents report errors and updates, which we fix on a rolling basis.

How do I download a list of kindergartens by area?

On the map you can draw a rectangle over the area you care about and download the kindergartens inside it as an Excel file, with name, address, licensing status and phone. You can select up to 25 per download.

Does the map work on mobile and in English?

Yes. The map is built for mobile and runs in any browser, with no app to install. You can switch between Hebrew and English on every page.
